How can one attract the voters and get their support? Is it by thumping thighs or throwing flying kisses?
Well, Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu is of the view that thigh thumping is much better than flying kisses to attract the people. “What is wrong in my brother-in-law Balakrishna thumping his thighs at the public meetings? Is it not better than Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy’s gesture of throwing kisses in the air to get loud cheers from public?” he asked media persons.
Obviously, Naidu was referring to the open letter written by his co-brother Daggubati Venkateshwara Rao to Balakrishna, expressing anguish over the latter thumping his thigh in front of Daggubati’s house. However, he did not react to the allegations levelled by Daggubati in his letter, published by Sakshi.
