Chiranjeevi Karimnagar tour on April 10, 11
In order to give fillip to the party’s election campaign, Praja Rajyam founder-president Chiranjeevi would be conducting a two-day whirl tour of Karimnagar district on April 10 and 11 by addressing road-side meetings.
Disclosing this to newsmen, PR district convenor Velichala Rajender Rao said that Mr. Chiranjeevi would address roadside meetings in Bejjanki, Jammikunta, Husnabad, Sircilla, Choppadandi and a massive public meeting in Karimnagar town at Ambedkar stadium on April 10. After night halt in Karimnagar town, he would address meetings in Jagtial and Korutla towns on April 11 and proceed to Nizamabad district for the campaign.
He also said that they were also planning to invite Yuva Rajyam president Pawan Kalyan for the electioneering on April 14 tentatively.
Launching a scathing attack against TRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao for fielding non-local candidates B. Vinod Kumar from the Karimnagar Parliament constituency and his son K. Tarakarama Rao from Sircilla Assembly segment in the district, Mr. Rajender Rao wanted to know whether there was no TRS leader from the district to be fielded in the elections. He said that the people would teach a fitting lesson to the TRS for betraying the cause of Telangana.
He charged that KCR as Union Minister failed to take up any developmental works in the district and instead shifted the ESI Hospital sanctioned in Karimnagar district to his native Siddipet town.
PR leaders K. Devender Rao, Md. Areef, G. Ashok and others were also present.
