KCR is losing, Ramulamma is winning

The first phase of polling has almost sealed the fate of the leaders and the most shocking news likely to be the possible defeat of TRS chief, K Chandrasekhar Rao, at Mahaboobnagar.
According to the initial reports, KCR is trailing behind his Congress rival, Vithal Rao. It is said that the locals have turned against the TRS chief and have determined to defeat him here. There are two reasons for this negative trend towards KCR.
The first reason is that KCR is a non-local and people does not want him win here. KCR hails from Siddhipet in Medak district and it was from here he wanted to contest, but had to give up the seat to his Chellemma, Vijayasanthi.
The second reason is that people in Mahaboobnagar district or for that matter in majority of the districts are happy with the real estate boom. The asset values have gone up considerably and people are not ready to lose the price.
If KCR wins the margin would be a couple of thousands of votes, it is said and if he loses, the margin would be anywhere between 15,000 to 25,000 votes.
Interesting news from the TRS camp is that Ramulamma, Vijayasanthi, is winning from Medak Lok Sabha seat. Again there are two reasons being attributed for Vijayasanthi’s possible victory.
The first reason is that she is the third woman candidate contesting from this seat in the last 60 years. Initially it was Sangam Lakshmi Bai of the Congress who won from here in 1967. Later, Indira Gandhi contested from here in 1980 and represented this seat in Parliament in the Seventh Lok Sabha. Almost after 18 years, Vijayasanthi is contesting from here and the women voters are impressed with her candidature.
The second reason is that her speeches are attractive and touch the hearts of the people. Begin a woman, she was able to hug and hold women during her campaign and thus became one of them.
It is to be seen how the TRS would react to this news.
