PRP forecasts win of 29 LS seats
The Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) would win 29 Parliamentary seats in the State, the party leaders claimed citing the results of previous elections as the benchmark. The party that won the Assembly elections got that many Lok Sabha seats in the past few elections, they reasoned.
Speaking to mediapersons here today, party political affairs committee member Kala Venkat Rao, accompanied by general secretary Umamalleswara Rao and secretary Chenchal Rao said the parties that had won the majority in the State Assembly had got 29 Lok Sabha seats in the past.
Women and youths had overwhelmingly voted for the party.
Many women had even confirmed this fact after the polling, he said. He had never seen youths lining up before the polling stations as early as 7.30 am in the last six elections, he added.
Venkat Rao said the turnout in the two-phase poll showed the same kind of pattern observed in the 1983 Assembly elections that gave a landslide victory to NT Ramarao. Chiranjeevi was more a reformer than a politician and the people had acknowledged the fact, he added. The party chief ’s filmstar image, social justice slogan and the BC factor were at work on the poll eve, the former minister claimed.
Rubbishing claims of other parties of having PRP’s support in case of a hung Assembly in the State, Venkat Rao said the PRP would win a clear majority.

I dont think so. He can not be CM on his own PRP. He has to join hands with congress or TD. I hope he joins hands with congress bcos he too want share in looting public money also be big corrupt.
Before electiosn he was charging congress and YSR for their corruption in his during his tenure in state.Now he is saying he want join hands with YSR or BABU.
If he is honest and do justice to poor he would sit in the opposition.
If he is not honest and he is also corrupt like normal dogs sorry politecians he will join hadnds with them.

If chiranjeevi is honest he should not try to be CM if he fails to get 150 seats and should sit in opposition. All he is doing now are gimmicks, he wants power and money..thats it. He has got fame , so he is in search of power and money (looting public)…

Chiru is better than Congress’s YSR or TDP’s Babu. Not sure, how many politicians their families, friends etc., have Chiru fans blood in them likewise eyes. They dare not say Chiru is selling blood. How many of the people that are criticizing Chiru are taking out time to help others like helping kids cross roads, providing water during summer, etc? I am sure everyone can their own might, even sacrificing little of time? Chiru does that. We need people like him in politics.
I am with Chiru always irrespective of PRPs winnability.
