Sub: - Contesting of Political parties in reserved constituencies MP/MLA.
Our is a Dalitsatta Organization Regd. As (Foundation for Reservation Reforms), which is Non-political, Non-profit service based organization working all over India for upliftment of Dalits (SC and ST) we are working in terms of Environment, Educational, Employment, Social, Cultural, Economical, Energy, Information and Political aspects.
The Constitutional of India provided reservation to our SCs and STs to raise our voice in the Parliament/Assembly to get certain benefits to our Dalits. But our people are contesting under the banner of some recognized parties since the president of that particular party is non-SC/ST community, it is not liberal to our sc/st. candidates to open our voice in the house. So we requesting to implement to all political parties (when the president of that particular party is Non-SC/ST member) a ban to be imposed on reserved category MP/MLA constancies.
1. If suppose, the political party is really would like to take-up SC/St Candidates, they provide seats in General constancies.
And
2. Imposing Ban on SC ST Seats: no involvement of other political parties/When party president is Non-SC/ST member including allotment of their symbols/B.form /Mandate Etc.
We hope the above clearance will effect as early as possible or other wise we will ask Hon. Supreme court for assistance.
