Biennial elections to the state council of Uttarakhand
The Election Commission has decided to hold Biennial Elections to the Council of State of Uttarakhand on account of the retirement of its sitting member (Shri Harish Chandra Singh) on 25th November, 2008. To fill up this vacancy , the biennial election will take place on 21st November, 2008 (Friday) and will continue till 24th November, 2008 (Monday). The entire schedule is given below:
