The TeluguMahila president and Chandragiri candidate, Ms R.K.Roja, invited the wrath of hundreds of villages at Yerravaripalem mandal when she entered their houses wearing shoes during the election campaign.

On Wednesday, the actor and her five Hyderabadbased friends barged into the houses wearing footwear and pleaded for votes.

An elderly woman at Nerabailu village asked Ms Roja to remove her shoes before entering the house.

After the actor left, she cleaned her house.

May be it is because of her hectic tour in Chandragiri constituency braving scorching sun, or lack of proper diet on time, Telugu Mahila president Roja has turned more glamorous now.

“Roja has shed a lot of weight and now looks slimmer. Perhaps thatcould be the reason why she is attracting more and more crowds, especially the youth, for her road shows,” a Tirupati-based journalist said.

Interestingly, she has a lot of men following rather than women following. When she goes out for door-to-door canvassing, a large number of men leaders are following her. Also there among them is Nara Ramamurthy Naidu!
